Andrea Baxter is a seasoned marketing consultant with 10 years experience in all facets of branding, business strategy and marketing execution. In 2009, Andrea founded Bratface Marketing, a niche marketing and strategy firm providing customized concepts utilizing online and social media expertise to both Canadian and US companies. With a focus primarily on franchise organizations & start up companies, Andrea’s clients have also included some of North America’s highly recognized, award-winning companies including Vision Critical, Blast Radius, Survivor Bootcamp and Return Path.
In addition to her career in marketing, Andrea is also co-founder of The Smart Cookies, a money-mentoring brand focused on making financial information accessible and engaging to young women. After an appearance on The Oprah Winfrey Show, Andrea and her colleagues authored two National Best Sellers The Smart Cookies Guide to Making More Dough & The Smart Cookies Guide to Couples & Money. In addition to publishing two books, Andrea’s involvement with The Smart Cookies included co-hosting a W Network television series, Smart Cookies, managing the companies North American day-to-day operations, securing sponsorship & global partnerships with brand like American Express & Mint.com, writing syndicated columns featured in Metro news and speaking to both professional audiences and students across on both sides of the border. In addition to Oprah, the Smart Cookies have also appeared on The Today Show, CNN, ABC News & have been covered in The New York Time, Money Magazine, and New York Daily News to name a few.
Andrea also makes time to volunteer her time with local & global organizations including a board position for the non-profit organization FCancer, Feed the Need Project, Imagine1day.org and is an active member & business mentor with the Forum For Women Entrepreneurs (FWE) & CRAVE. Additionally, Andrea always makes herself available & takes time to mentor young women breaking into the business world.
