Cheryl Nakamoto

Cheryl Nakamoto (right) co-founded McNeill Nakamoto Recruitment Group (McNak) with Sarah McNeill (left) in 1996 with the mission to create an experienced based staffing company focused on corporate culture. After almost 15 years in business, their strong brand and their ‘McNak experience’ puts their company in a different league from their competitors.

Cheryl is Chief, People Progress Potential (C3PO) and oversees all operations, manages and leads the senior team and works on client development and strategy.

Cheryl is a director for the Dress for Success Organization (DFS). Over the last 10 years, she has organized ‘Clean Your Closet” suit drives with McNak clients. Cheryl spearheaded the inception of the Vancouver Career Centre for DFS. Cheryl is a member of the Junior Achievement BC Alumni Advisory board. Cheryl is a busy mother of two school aged children.

Recently, McNeill Nakamoto received the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Canada Community Mentor Award, presented annually to a corporation that has made a meaningful contribution.
