Raul Pacheco-Vega (PhD, The University of British Columbia) teaches environment and public policy courses at the domestic and international levels in the Department of Political Science at The University of British Columbia, does research in the field of comparative environmental politics and does consulting in the fields of policy analysis, government use of social media and implementation of online tools for higher education. Originally trained as a chemical engineer, and armed with a Masters of Business Administration and a PhD in Environmental Studies, Raul’s interdisciplinary background has enabled him to be creative as an entrepreneur, consultant and educator.
